A stunning statement sleigh bed. The natural solid wood and comfortable curved shapes create a healthy Biophilic bedroom. The touch, sight and smell of solid wood has been found to be calming. The bed has a slatted wooden base to allow ventilation of a deep bedstead mattress (not supplied). The bed is delivered in several pieces and brought together with traditional dry joints (so that it can be easily dismantled in the future if required). There are optional storage drawers. It is shown here in a lovely rich fumed oak with sycamore beads and a natural oiled finish. All of our timber for furniture making is Scottish and our oak is from trees that will have been growing for over a century. Read more about how we source our timber in “Sustainable Timber” section.
