Garden furniture and exterior public commissions
Scottish air-dried oak is very durable and perfect for garden furniture. By steam-bending we create strong, curvaceous, comfortable elements for a wide range of exterior projects, from memorial benches in wild landscapes, to collections for national trails and city gardens.
Bespoke tables
We design and hand-make bespoke dining tables that are often oval, elliptical or round. We also make coffee tables, console tables and side tables to suit your space and requirements.
Sculptural Benches
About once a year Angus makes a one-off or limited edition piece of collectible, art furniture such as the sculptural Forth Bench. These experimental artistic creations are full of narrative and help develop his extraordinary steam-bending practise.
Cabinets and storage
Cabinets are often commissioned to store treasured collections, such as our Whisky Collectors Cabinet, and includes tamboured drinks cabinets, sideboards, chest of drawers, wardrobes and quirky unique one-off’s.
Bespoke desks
Our desks are beautiful and ergonomic and designed to suit your way of working. We have made standing desks and surfaces suitable for analogue or digital work.
Chairs and Stools
Angus enjoys the challenge of designing and making chairs - as more than any other piece of furniture they must support every size and shape of body, over many years of physical use. Our chairs and stools are comfortable and beautiful, elegant and strong.

Bedroom Furniture
This includes beds, wardrobes, chest of drawers, bedside tables and dressing tables to create a healthy bedroom sanctuary.
Public art furniture
We have been commissioned to create functional public art for many public places including museums, churches, bars and boardrooms. This furniture includes reception desks, boardroom tables, display cabinets and benches.
Larger projects
Sometimes we are commissioned to design and make whole new furniture collections for private houses and public spaces.
Sustainable timber
Our timber is from our woodland and local estates.
These may be storm blown trees or after highly selective thinning of trees to encouraging natural regeneration, increased bio-diversity, and improving the overall health and resilience of the woodland.
