Exquisite, sculptural furniture with a sense of movement and flow
Our comfortable curvaceous furniture is designed by award-winning designer Angus Ross who is also a master craftsman and woodsman. He has been innovating with wood for thirty years yet remains curious about the possibilities of our local timber.
Sustainable Scottish timber from our woodland and local estates
Highly selective thinning of trees works with nature, encouraging natural regeneration to improve bio-diversity and the overall health and resilience of the woodland.
Hand made furniture by our team of exceptional craftsmen
We have a small team of dedicated and highly skilled craftsmen at your service. Our traditional workshop has been used continuously for woodwork since 1886.
Our specialist technique of steam-bending allows us to create curvaceous flowing lines which we combine with traditional cabinet-making techniques.
“Angus Ross creates ‘sketches in wood’ from his Aberfeldy workshop in Highland Perthshire. He sources timber primarily from his own woodland, just five miles away.”
The Story of Scottish Design, V&A
“Looking at some of the designs emerging from the workshop of Angus Ross it is difficult to determine if they are pieces of furniture or works of art. The truth is they are both.”
