The Milton Chair offers a beautiful way to display textiles and needlework. It was first made as a bespoke commission for a set of three heirloom chairs to display hand stitched tapestries. The clear lines of the steam-bent frame and hand turned stretchers offer the limelight to the generous seat, which becomes a canvas for art. I just collected my chair from Angus, it’s really lovely and I am very pleased with it.
It is quite large so my wife and I were musing if we could sit on it together - it is in fact beautifully proportioned and very comfortable.
