The solid wood frame is available in oak or ash that we source sustainably in Perthshire. The steambent back-rail joins the front legs with beautiful bridle joints and is notched into the back leg. The comfortable sloped and curved backrest is attached to the back rail with two lovely pegged details. The seat is deep upholstery. The oak chair is shown with Welsh Melin Tregwynt Vintage Rose Lambswool woven fabric in Slate and the ash chair is shown with Melin Tregwynt Vintage Rose Lambswool woven fabric in Mead. The price includes upholstery but NOT fabric. This chair is made to order with lead time of twelve weeks to sixteen weeks.
