Aye Bar Stool

This is more than a bar-stool, it is a comfortable dining chair made to a higher level to suit dining or working at a work-top height kitchen table or bar.

Comfortable curved seat in solid oak. Our innovative way of slicing and steam-bending a single length of wood to create a leg plus curved back-support keeps the wood fibres intact providing maximum strength. (Our Y Writing Desk was nominated for The Wood Awards Best Furniture Design UK in 2012.) The back-rest is steam-bent and notched and jointed into the A frame. One half of the back legs are round tenoned and brought through the seat and wedged, the other half is joined to the back of the seat with a hand-turned spindle. The legs are also connected and strengthened with hand-turned spindles and pegged providing extra strength. The front spindle is shaped to create a comfortable foot-rest. Our logo is branded under the seat.

This chair was designed to nestle under our worktop height narrow dining table and the height can be customised.
