This stunning elliptical dining table was commissioned to celebrate a marriage. The design is a collaboration between ceramic artist Frances Priest and Angus Ross. A renovation of the kitchen/dining space with mezzanine offered a bird’s eye view of the encaustic tiled table top. The elliptical top has a cross-shaped concave pedestal base clad that reflects the clients interest in mathematics. A bullnose edge provides a smooth, comfortable, and tactile edge for the tiled top.

Ash was selected as the pale neutral tone anchored the striking top and suits the cool interior. Very comfortable for eight diners and ten at a squeeze .
