Our Frame Rocker is a signature piece and a comfortable, exquisitely balanced, compact rocking chair. It has been loved and used in the home office, tv room, nursery, family room and lounge and it suits traditional and contemporary interiors. The Dalcapon Oak Special Edition is a numbered limited edition of eight with an exceptionally clean grain for Scottish wood. A large oak tree had to be felled south of Pitlochry (in Dalcapon) after concerns that it was so old, large branches might drop and block a crucial access. Angus was present at the milling and was able to select the milling to prepare planks to be most suitable for our furniture making. The timber has been air-dried for two years and kiln-dried in our workshop. This is slow furniture making where we have managed the timber from standing tree to finished rocking chair over a period of a few years.

“You can't imagine how much we admired Angus' frame rockers... The design was ingenious , the balance and proportions exquisite and the timbers so beautiful.” PM

“the real treat was getting home and putting the rocker in place. As predicted, we are alternating between sitting in it and sitting elsewhere so we can look at it!" R McE

"The frame rocker arrived safely; it looks beautiful, as you described it, and is as comfortable as I remembered from the one in the workshop. Please thank Angus and his colleagues for all their care and craftsmanship. I am really delighted to have such a fine piece of furniture.” GW
