The Dalerb Garden Chair has been nominated for RHS Chelsea Sustainable Garden Product of the Year and the collection is made in oak sourced in Perthshire. Our oak timber is generated as part of good woodland management. The wood may come from wind-blown trees, or trees carefully selected for felling to improve the surrounding trees and to allow natural regeneration or under-planting.

The Dalerb Garden Set comprises one Dalerb Bench, a Dalerb Table and two Dalerb Chairs. The price for the Dalerb Garden Set includes 10% discount.

Our steam-bending technique allows us to shape wood whilst keeping the fibres intact. This allows maximum strength in elegant curved components. Our traditional hand made joint-work is beautiful, effective and durable.

Scottish oak compliments all gardens and feels warm and smooth to touch. Oak is virtually maintenance-free, extremely hardwearing and can be left outside year round.

Dalerb Garden Furniture is made with local oak.

Lead time currently 8-10 weeks.

Dimensions : chair W 61 x D 50 x H 74 cm, bench L 151 x D 50 x H 74 cm, table L 110 x D 73 x H 53 cm.

We recommend that the surface of the wood is left bare to weather to a silvery grey patina.

Oak contains very high quantities of a natural chemical called tannin. Tannin is one reason that oak is so hardwearing and can be left outside as bare wood.  (Other timbers need chemical surface finishes to slow down rot). Tannin is water soluble and in the first few weeks and months you may see some dark staining (like tea) on the surface of the wood and under the chair. This disappears as it is washed away by rain and the wood weathers to silvery grey. Please ask for more information if you have any concerns about the surface below your furniture.

If you wish to purchase a bench or table separately, or discuss other combinations please get in touch.
