Clinker Garden Bench
Curvaceous hand-made solid oak garden bench. Very comfortable two adults plus children and to sit sideways with your legs up on the bench. The back-rest is hand-built, with steam-bent slats fixed with copper rivets, like a wooden clinker boat.
This is a new bench for RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2024.
Our garden furniture in made with local oak. This is very durable and the oak will weather to silvery grey. It requires no maintenance apart from brushing off debris from time to time. If it becomes stained it can be scrubbed with warm soapy water. At the moment we are making garden furniture from Storm Arwen wind-blown trees on Glen Lyon Estate - for more details please read sustainable timber.
