| THE UNSTABLE STOOL The unstable stool is the first batch produced product in the steam-bent range. The stack laminated ash seat is supported by an asymmetric steam-bent rocker which places the user into the optimal seated pose when working at a desk or table (tilted slightly forwardwith knees below hips). Previously this has been achieved by other designers with cumbersome chairs or large blow up balls. We make these in batches of five and the seat is now more sculpted than the one illustrated to be more comfortable and easier to see which way round the stool should be used.
