Reception Desk - for the art gallery, Royal Pump Rooms, Leamington Spa

The desk reflects the gallery's previous function as a swimming pool and the rhythm and flow of light on water. There is a flowing wall of slumped and laminated glass panels, above which runs an oak counter dipping down and then rising higher to create a split level desk, separating out the differing functions, and allowing for maximum public contact including children and those in wheelchairs. The long arc provides a strong physical barrier, whilst allowing plenty of room for two personnel, and good ergonomic use of the required hardware.

Ripple Bench

Commissioned for the Royal Pump Rooms art gallery in Leamington Spa, these solid three person bench seats pick up on the theme of flowing water. Consisting of an s-shaped brown oak slab seat supported by a contra -flowing wall to create a dynamic interplay of line and space.

Manufactured in brown oak with cast and polished aluminium support leg.

Balloon Chairs

Commissioned for the Royal Pump Rooms art gallery in Leamington Spa, these fully adjustable 'task' chairs have an all-singing/dancing up/down/tilt mechanism, hidden underneath the upholstered leather cone.

For stability and manoeuvrability, the cone is supported by a five point cast and polished aluminium base on castors.

Display Table

Primarily for the display of publications and literature, in the gallery of the Royal pump rooms, Leamington spa. The low table picks up on the counter detail of the desk - a drooped section in the middle of the table top allows the vertical display of promotional cards and leaflets.

The top slab is suspended above two stack laminated curved walls by linked aluminium tie bars, creating a a strongly defined visual split.
